Results of BS-CSE Exit Survey

BS-CSE majors are required to complete an exit survey one to two quarters prior to their graduation. The survey consists of three parts. The first part asks the respondent to assess the importance each of the student outcomes of the program and the extent to which the outcomes were achieved in the case of the student completing the survey. The second part asks the respondent to assess the quality of advising provided to students in the program. The third part asks about the best features of the program and for suggestions for possible improvements.

Starting in 2007-'08, the collection of the results has been a bit more automated than previously. The results are available by following the links below. Results from previous years are available elsewhere.

The results in the pages below are cut-and-pasted from the pages created by the on-line survey tool. The results produced by the tool are available here but that requires you to log in (to your Unix account).

If you have any comments or questions about the CSE Exit Survey or the results, please email neelam AT cse.

Please note that "student outcomes" were previously called "program outcomes". The old terminology might still appear in some of these pages.
