Xinliang (Frederick) Zhang | 心亮

Hi folks, I am Xinliang (Frederick) Zhang. I am from China. My official Chinese name is 张心亮 or Xinliang Zhang in Pinyin (pronounced as Shin-LeeAun Zhang). Usually, I go by Frederick.

I am an undergraduate student at The Ohio State University (OSU), pursuing dual degrees in Computer Science & Engineering(CSE) and Industrial & Systems Engineering (ISE) with Honors Math Minor. Before coming to OSU, I was an undergraduate student at Sichuan University (SCU), majoring in Industrial Engineering (IE).

My research interests lie in the fields of Natural Language Processing (NLP) , Machine Learning (ML), Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP). I am fortunate to work with Dr. Huan Sun on NLP tasks and proud of being part of SunLab. I also work closely with Dr. Marie-Catherine de Marneffe. Recently, I have been working on Question Answering & Generation, Information Retrieval, Natural Language Inference and Clinical NLP.

I am also broadly interested in Optimization, Applied Mathematics, Statistics and (Statistical) Linguistics. Explore more interests now!
