Short Biography

Ping Zhang is an Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University (OSU), with joint appointments at the Department of Biomedical Informatics (BMI), and the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). He leads the AIMed (Artificial Intelligence in Medicine) Lab at OSU. His research focuses on data mining, machine learning and their applications to biomedical informatics.


AIMed Lab currently has openings for PhD students (Fall 2022), postdoctoral associates, and visiting scholars with research interests related to health data science and/or AI algorithms in medicine. Please reach out to Dr. Ping Zhang via email if you are interested.
