info about spore is at: www.spore.com/about.php click the rightmost of 3 circular icons toward the top of the page to get to some videos. if you click the middle of the 3 circular icons you'll get to a list of news items about spore - some of these also have videos. your assignment for tuesday is to email a couple (procedural animation) aspects of the game you find interesting. The task will be to reverse engineer as aspect of Spore - at least think about it, write some pseudo code, suggest what is and what isn't being procedurally generated. How is the character animated automatically from the design? How is the social interaction programmed? etc.
