Grad Student /Faculty Team Receives Fellowship


CSE PhD student Jeremy Morris and his advisor, Eric Fosler-Lussier, have been awarded a Air Force Research Lab / Dayton Area Graduate Studies Institute (AFRL/DAGSI) Student-Faculty Fellowship to work with the Air Force Research Laboratory on a project entitled Lexicon Building for Multi-Language Speech Recognition. Jeremy, a member of the SLaTe (Speech and Language Technologies) Lab, has been working on a NSF-ITR funded ASAT: Automatic Speech Atribute Transcription project. Under this fellowship, Jeremy and Eric will collaborate this coming year with Raymond Slyh and Tim Anderson of the SCREAM lab at AFRL.
