Stu Zweben

Hi! I'm Stu Zweben.

I'm Professor Emeritus of Computer Science and Engineering at The Ohio State University. I chaired this department from 1994-2005. I also served as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Administration in the College of Engineering at Ohio State from 2006-2011.

I am a fellow and former president of ACM (The Association for Computing Machinery), a fellow and former president of The Computing Sciences Accreditation Board (CSAB), and a fellow of ABET.

I previously served (for eight years) on the Board of Directors of the Computing Research Association. I continue to chair CRA's Survey's Committee, which conducts the annual Taulbee Survey of Ph.D.-granting computer science and computer engineering departments in North America, and am responsible for the reporting of the survey's results .

I chaired ABET's Accreditation Council from 2009-2011 and chaired ABET's Computing Accreditation Commission from 2007-2008. I have done consulting for many universities world-wide on accreditation-related matters.

My research interests are in software engineering and computer science education.
