Mission The mission of the Department of Computer and Information Science is: i) to educate undergraduate and graduate majors in computer science and engineering, as well as the broader campus community, in the fundamental concepts of the computing discipline; ii) to create and disseminate computing knowledge and technology; and iii) to use our expertise in computing to help our society solve problems.
