A number of alumni have expressed the opinion that their co-op and internship experiences were among the most useful in preparing them for their professional careers. Students often fail to fully recognize the importance of these activities when they are in the program. Given this, we are exploring possible activities [such as having staff from the Engineering Coop and Placement office make presentations to students, as part of courses such as CIS 321 and 560, about both the importance of these activities and the options that are available for students interested in pursuing them].
