Feedback from co-op students (Marathon Ashland Petroleum)

Peg reported the following (mail to Stu and Neelam, dated 2 Jan. '04):

I attended a meeting in Findlay at Marathon Ashland Petroleum on Dec 11. Three of our CSE co-op students gave an overview of their projects for autumn quarter. They were Ken Goolsby, Hal Maskery, and Ryan Yoder. There were also two other students who presented who were from BGSU, Univ of Findlay.

Our students all shared some common useful skills that they were able to transfer from the classroom to hands-on application. These included interpersonal skills & being able to manage projects. They all mentioned that the most helpful courses they had taken were 560, & 670, in addition to the spine. Their second writing class was also cited as having been a benefit to their experiences.
