About Me

I am a Research Scientist in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Ohio State University. I am currently working with Prof. Dhabaleswar K. (DK) Panda in the Network Based Computing Lab. My research interests include High Performance Interconnects and Protocols, Big Data Computing (Hadoop/Spark Ecosystem), Parallel Computing (MPI/PGAS), Virtualization, and Cloud Computing. Recently, I am leading research and development on the following projects:

I received my Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICT, CAS) in July, 2012. My advisor was Prof. Zhiwei Xu. During my Ph.D. studies in ICT, I joined several projects as a core designer, researcher and developer, e.g. CNGrid GOS. I have co-founded and been leading two open-source projects, LingCloud and DataMPI, for Cloud Computing and Big Data Computing, respectively.
