Isosurface Extraction
Isosurface Extraction
Displaying isosurfaces is still one of the most commonly used techniques to analyze three dimensional scalar fields. Efficient computation and rendering of isosurfaces plays a crucial role in assisting the scientists to glean insight into their data. For the past decade, we have developed many efficient algorithms for isosurface extraction. The focus of our research includes:
✦Efficient Search Indexing Schemes for Active Cells
✦View Dependent Isosurface Computation
✦Time-Varying Surface Tracking
✦Parallel Isosurface Extraction
